Renee Zukin — author of Every Day I'm Brave, educator, and resilience coach — shares her raw journey living with anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, and agoraphobia. Born from a bathroom moment when she recognized that simply showing up took real courage, her mantra became both a personal movement and a book exploring what it truly means to be brave: not the absence of fear, but the willingness to move forward with it. This is a conversation about honoring your personal "brave," allowing fear instead of resisting it, flipping catastrophic "what ifs" into hopeful possibilities, and understanding that fear and courage walk hand in hand.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Why bravery is personal and doesn't need to look like anyone else's
How allowing fear (instead of resisting it) loosens its grip
Why labels can liberate rather than limit
How to flip the "what ifs" from catastrophic to hopeful

"I didn't have to compare my brave to somebody else's brave. What became really important was the self-compassion to stop fighting myself about why I couldn't do things."
